Gal Gadot joins Reebok’s growing team of game-changing women

Fitness lifestyle brand Reebok announces a landmark partnership with real life wonder woman Gal Gadot. The company made the announcement on Thursday, saying that Godot is joining their growing team of game-changers – one that includes Ariana Grande, Gigi Hadid and Victoria Beckham – as part of their commitment to empowering women worldwide.

An actress who is currently at the top of her game after taking on the role of Wonder Woman in a series of DC Comic films, Gadot is seen as a symbol of confidence, defiant courage and inner strength. Training for her life’s journey began with physical education, which helped her to gain that confidence.

“Working out has always been a big part of my life,” shared Gadot, “especially with having a mother who was a PE teacher. I was exposed to an active lifestyle from an early age.”

“Through fitness, I have found that I gain strength, endurance and confidence, and I couldn’t imagine a better partner than Reebok to join me on this journey,” she added.

Sharing the common belief that fitness should be accessible to all – anybody and any body – Gadot and Reebok are working together, they say, to inspire women and girls to discover and embrace fitness as a way to become the best version of themselves – physically, mentally and socially.

Reebok teamed up with revered lifestyle photographer Collier Schorr to introduce Gadot to the company’s audience. The result is a series of striking images that embody Reebok’s Be More Human mantra and the pair’s shared belief in the power of fitness to change lives. The collection of original portraits capture an intrinsic power that speaks to the benefits of movement. Gadot looks a little less like a beauty queen, action heroine, leading lady or UN ambassador and a lot more like your workout partner at the local gym. No heroics necessary.

“Her relentless spirit and natural leadership have already captivated and inspired millions and we believe that this is just the starting point,” said Todd Krinsky, general manager of the performance business unit at Reebok, a part of Adidas. “We look to partner with women who instil confidence … to take risks and to keep pushing, all while making a positive difference in the world,” he adds.

Schorr’s understated black and white prints used in the campaign launch highlight the Women’s Training Collection. Gadot is wearing Reebok’s lightweight, high intensity Speed HER TR Jacquard weave training shoes, abstract graphic pattern Lux Tights, which are also available in capris, the Reebok Hero Strong Bra, and a Perforated Speedwick Tank.
