The Rita Marley exhibition debuts on Sunday, February 6 to a private viewing by a delegation of government officials, including the Jamaican Prime Minister Andrew Holness, the leader of the official opposition party, and tourism and culture ministers, before opening to the public on weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Another new exhibition is being showcased at the Bob Marley Museum called The 7 Roots of Bob Marley’s Livity, also part of the Roots 77 events to celebrate reggae icon Bob Marley’s birthday. The juried exhibition features works submitted by young visual artists living and working in Jamaica who answered an open call for original artwork. Artists were able to submit their work up until 4 p.m. on February 4. The exhibit will open until August.
