Nuit Blanche Toronto goes online

One of the city’s favourite events with exhibitions all over the city has adjusted its strategy in its 15th year and moved its art exhibitions and live performances online.

Nuit Blanche Toronto is set to deliver a special online edition to ensure the safety of attendees and participating artists due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The virtual Nuit Blanche presents works in five different streams of programming, including a free talk series consisting of curated 60-minute webinars that tackle relevant and urgent issues of public space and art, access, opportunity, land, geopolitics, sustainability with in-depth conversations, discussions, panels, and Q&As with artists; podcasts, live streams, Nuit History and augmented and virtual reality artworks.

The art festival’s Artistic Director Julie Nagam’s curatorial theme, The Space Between Us, focuses on the connections across urban, polar and pacific landscapes revealing the space between us as a potential site for sharing knowledge.

Date: October 3, 2020
Time: Sunset to Sunrise – 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
Location: https://www.toronto.ca/explore-enjoy/festivals-events/nuitblanche/

I’m aiming to get some visuals that I can share with you all in the coming days.
