The five bands playing the VLV Car Show

The Go Getters are a band from Sweden whose music has been exciting audiences since the late 80s through their high-octane Rockabilly boogie, a mix of blues, rockabilly and country.

The Rhythm Shakers are a female-fronted band that plays late 50s/early 60s rock and roll while borrowing from 60s soul, blues and modern sounds.

Big Sandy & the Flyrite Boys — Since the 80s, Robert “Big Sandy” Williams has played with several bands on the Southern California rockabilly and roots music scene before forming Big Sandy and the Fly-Rite Trio in 1988. Having toured the globe many times, they continue to be a fixture on the ever-changing Americana circuit.

The Surfrajettes are an all-female four-piece instrumental combo from Toronto, ON, Canada. Since late 2015, the band has charmed audiences with a mix of psychedelic rock and reverb-drenched surf music, sky-high beehives, go-go boots, and eyeliner as thick as their guitar strings.

The Royal Hounds are Nashville-based roots rock and roll trio who’ve been entertaining audiences across America, South America and Europe since 2011. With their third studio album Low Class Songs for High Class People (2019), they bring a unique approach to live music that includes rock and roll, country shredding, swing, honky-tonk, bass surfing, instrument swapping and on-stage antics.
