Four-time Grammy-winning music producer Timbaland is responsible for the music in the animation series BE@RBRICK, premiering globally on Apple TV+ in two weeks.

The multi-talented rapper, singer, songwriter, is the executive music producer of the 13-episode animated comedy series coming to screens on March 21. 

In addition to overseeing music production, Timbaland is also in the production. He is the guest voice star for the character BRBX Media DJ. 

The musician, who turns pretty much everything he touches into gold, is known for his work with artists and producers such as Missy Elliott, Justin Timberlake, Madonna, Beyoncé, Mariah Carey, Coldplay, The Fray, Snoop Dogg, Alicia Keys, Jay-Z, Rhianna, Pharrell Williams and Keri Hilson. Timbaland’s company Mosley Music Group debuted Nelly Furtado’s number one song Promiscuous, which he was featured on.

BE@RBRICK features original songs by Timbaland as well as an original score by Jina Hyojin An and Shirley Song. Hyojin An and Song are music producers for the humorous Korean teen drama XO, Kitty, and composers of the theme song for the adult animated series Exploding Kittens, both on Netflix.

BE@RBRICK was developed by Daytime Emmy Award nominee Meghan McCarthy (My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, Centaurworld), who also serves as showrunner, executive producer and writer.

The production’s theme focuses on self-empowerment through music. Inspired by the BE@RBRICK collectible figures from MEDICOM TOY, the Apple TV+ series was developed for children and families in collaboration with DreamWorks Animation and Dentsu.
