New Disrupt Festival kicks off 25-city summer concert tour of North America

A brand-new festival is set to disrupt the music scene this summer by going back to the tried-and-true way of listening to music in a festival environment.

Labelled “the premiere touring festival of the summer,” the Rockstar Energy Drink Disrupt Festival will showcase familiar names in rock as well as the genre’s rising stars. The Used, Thrice, Circa Survive, Sum 41, The Story So Far, Atreyu, Sleeping With Sirens, Andy Black, Four Year Strong, Memphis May Fire, Trophy Eyes, Meg & Dia, Juliet Simms and  Hyro The Hero are just some of the performers lined up.

Not to be confused with the technology and innovation startup conference, the inaugural Disrupt Festival is essentially a music, art and lifestyle festival, with emphasis on the music and heavy on the rock. The  first Disrupt Festival kicks off on a 25-city roadshow in Dallas, Texas on June 21, 2019 at the Dos Equis Pavilion and is set to make its way across the United States and Canada in June and July moving through Phoenix, Tampa, New Jersey, Atlanta, Toronto and wrapping up in Albuquerque, New Mexico on July 28 at the Isleta Amphitheater.

Another unique thing about the Disrupt Festival is that only one band will take the stage at a time. It’s purposely set up that way to allow fans to hear all the bands they want to without missing any of their favourites. Expect to be immersed in a full-day of interactive experiences via the latest lifestyle brands and pop-up experiences while listening to your favourite bands without any conflicts in set times.

It’s not entirely open-air either. The music will start on an outdoor stage before shifting into an amphitheater setting allowing for larger stage productions as well as comfortable seating options for concert-goers.

Each city has a unique line-up and are being presented in conjunction with international live event producers Live Nation and production company Synergy Global Entertainment, who also have a hand in MUSINK, Taste Of Chaos, Back To The Beach, Driftwood, and the Craft Beer & Music Festival events.

Ticket prices vary at each concert venue depending on where you sit, and from city to city as well, some tickets are going for around $15.
