Stefanie Michaela says it’s time to turn the page

After putting her music career on pause to raise five children, musician Stefanie Michaela finally came to the realization that it was time for her to turn the page.

Her kids told her, “Mommy, you’ve taken care of us, now it’s time to take care of you.”

Michaela begins her renewed journey with the release of a new single, Found in You, on Valentine’s Day. The track was co-written by Keith Thomas and International Songwriting Competition winner Stephanie Middleton. Thomas, who also produced the song, is a multiple GRAMMY-winning artist who has worked with high-profile musicians such as Amy Grant, Vanessa Williams, Whitney Houston, and CeCe Winans.

Michaela regards her family as her muse. Found in You was inspired and fuelled by the love she shares with her husband and children, and of course her never-ending passion for music.

Although Michaela was born and raised in Los Angeles, the song has a soulful pop, New York at dusk, feel. The music is representative of her personal evolution as well as motivation for listeners to turn the pages in their own lives.

It’s only the beginning of a new chapter for her. Turning Pages the EP, is set for release later this year.

Michaela will donate a portion of music streaming revenue to the Agoura Hills Animal Shelter to help care for and find a home for animals in need in response to the Los Angeles fires.
