The presence of two superstar athletes in Toronto for two highly-anticipated events tied to the Toronto Caribbean Carnival culture festival is creating an exciting buzz throughout the city.
The Toronto Caribbean Carnival, Canada’s most significant cultural festival, which attracts over a million spectators from around the globe for four exciting weeks of Caribbean music, cuisine, arts, and culture, is collaborating with Elements Toronto to present an all-star lineup of events during carnival weekend. The first event is being hosted by NBA legend LeBron James and the other by Golden State Warriors, NBA Champion, and All-Star Andrew Wiggins.
Elements Toronto introduced the incredibly well-attended Daylight event in 2015. For its sixth year, Daylight makes its grand return at Lavelle, an upscale venue in the King West club and restaurant district, which draws a worldwide audience, including many celebrity guests. Lavelle has become synonymous with the energy and overall essence of the Toronto Caribbean Carnival long weekend. The 13,000 sq. ft luxury venue has a rooftop with a 360-degree view of the city.
Carnival Celebration is a sophisticated new event hosted by Golden State Warriors 2022 NBA Champion and All-Star Andrew Wiggins, taking place on Saturday, after the Grand Parade. The event will be held at Arcane, known for its elegant, chic lounge, also located in the heart of Toronto’s entertainment district. The event will feature sounds from Team Hennessy and Cleveland Cavalier’s official DJ, Steph Floss.
This collaboration with the Toronto Caribbean Carnival provides an upscale carnival experience for festivalgoers hosted by an all-star celebrity lineup. Wiggins, Toronto’s very own, led the Warriors to victory in the 2022 NBA Championship, shooting him to superstardom. Both events will garner much excitement for Canadians and out-of-town visitors, making it the most anticipated parties to attend during the carnival weekend.
James has been spotted at Lavelle before. In 2017 OVO Fest held an epic private party at Lavelle where Drake partied with James, French Montana, Migos and other celebrities at the exclusive rooftop hangout.
