Musician may have been victim of a scam at Quebec gas station

Musician Rushy Lion of the reggae band Jah & I is upset because he was profiled and robbed by an employee of an Esso station in Drummondville, Quebec when he tried to pay for his gas. The man behind the counter took his pre-paid credit card, called the police on him, and refused to give him back his card.

The actors who play Biggie, Tupac and the detectives who try to solve their murders

Marcc Rose looks so much like rapper Tupac Shakur that pictures of him in character make it difficult to tell them apart. Rose standing beside Wavyy Jonez, who plays The Notorious B.I.G. in the upcoming TV crime-drama series Unsolved: The Murders of Tupac and The Notorious B.I.G., makes it even harder to tell the actor from the real personalities.

So this guy from LA sent me a bunch of photos of Ebie Wright, daughter of the late rapper Eazy-E who was a member of the straight-out-of-Compton, renegade hip-hop group N.W.A. Two days later he sent me another email saying that “the exclusive” was sold to a major entertainment news outlet.

Tom Petty family hopes singer’s death will spark discussion on opioid use

The coroner’s report said that singer Tom Petty died of an accidental  drug overdose from multiple medications. His family posted a message to the public on the homepage of his website in hopes of sparking a healthy and necessary discussion on the use of opioids in pain management.

Dave Grohl tells the story of how the Foo Fighters’ latest album came to be, in an animated short film. Cartoon Justin Timberlake, Paul McCartney, Shawn Stockman (Boyz II Men), and Alison Mosshart (The Kills) appear in ‘The Making of Concrete and Gold’, alongside Grohl and the real version of them appear on the record.
