Lenovo $100K digital grant awards diversity in company culture

The Toronto Region Board of Trade (TRBOT) awarded a $100K Lenovo Digital Transformation Grant to businesses that showed their plan for success incorporated measures to address equity, diversity and inclusion.

Ten Ontario-based businesses, owned and led by entrepreneurs who are women or BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and other people of colour) individuals, will be awarded Lenovo Digital Transformation Grants worth $10,000 each to help them unlock the potential of their businesses.

TRBOT received more than 200 applications over a two-month period. The final 10 businesses were selected based on their ability to demonstrate their business’s equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives as well as their participation and completion of a recovery program created by the business association to help small to medium-sized businesses digitally transform, recover from set-backs and grow.
